Hi everyone.
So the nurse manager from the NICU at a local hospital called me yesterday to tell me that someone would be calling me to set up an interview. I haven't heard anything yet. When should I wait to call to find out about setting up an interview if they don't call me back? I want to make sure that I sound eager and interested in the position, but I don't want to bother them too much.
I am so excited! I haven't been so excited about a job prospect ever.
BTW, I am a student nurse and am graduation in a few weeks. They have two openings one for a nurse w/ experience and one for a GN. I TOTALLY want the GN position!
Sorry to sound sooooo excited but I can't help it!
Thanks!

I would probably call Tuesday morning if I haven't heard from them by then. That gives them 3 business days to call you for an interview.

Good luck! And I agree about calling Tuesday morning.
Thought I would give everyone an update. I spoke to the nurse recruiter. Everything sounds very promising. She said that she spoke the the nurse manager in the unit that i want and that she spoke very highly of me from our phone conversations, cover letter, and resume. She said that teh nurse manager is hanging on to my information and added that she wouldn't do that unless she were really interested in me. She then added that they think the position that I applied for will be filled before I graduate but they don't think they will have any problem getting me into the unit when I do graduate.
I have my interview on Thursday. She said she will go over the necessary paper work with me and go over salary and benefits and things, then she will take me over to talk with the nurse manager face to face and take another tour of teh unit.
I'm soooo excited!
