want to be a sbu nursing student

U.S.A. New York

hello all,

im new to this site and hoping i get some guidance on how to apply and what steps to take.

first off im currently a medical assistant of 4 years 1st year internal medicine and last 3 years in cardiology and in those years i volunteered to step in on TEEs caths and any other procedure i can get involved in. ive pretty much figured out nursing was what i really wanted to pursue. my main goal is to apply to SBU basic bacc program. ive surfed SBU nursing website millions of times and i know must complete a minimum of 57 credits (list can be found on the website), get letters of recommendation, submit app and get transcripts ect, ect. the thing is i have no college background and i am starting as a clean slate.

as of now i am a new student at SCCC and hoping to complete the pre-reqs and apply to SBU nursing school. as i mentioned i have no college background and currently am taking a math 007 and English due to my bad choices made in h.s, im feeling pretty doubtful of myself and worried on how much time it will take me to finish the pre-reqs.

once i finish the pre-reqs,when is it best to apply and submit the required "goods"? should i submit the app then send the letters transcripts ect in bulk to the mailing address that's listed? i need some help..... does this plan work out or sound right?

helppp meee pleeassseeeee
