Want to move to Texas, Need info!

Hi, I am going to graduate next year with a 2 year nursing degree. My husband and I are planning to find a nice place to move to after graduating.

His buddy is in Mckinney, Tx. And he highly recommends that area to us.

I wonder if anyone knows anything about Texas that can give me some advice:

1. Should I take the NCLEX in my state first and then get a license in Texas?

2. I have checked out the North Central Medical Center in the area, have anyone heard anything about that hospital? What is the pay like?

3. Do you think any hospital in Texas will take new graduats from another state?

4. I want to be an OR nurse eventually and is there any hospital that has training for new grad in Texas?

Any info will be appreciated.
