Any other Walden U students here disgusted by the schools recent decision to not supply texts as they had promised when we were applying? Seems to me that if a business promises things for which they expect payment and then do not supply all of these things constitutes theft or fraud does it not? Has anyone complained to the better business bureau? I have not yet. What has been the response from advising to your complaints? I was totally brushed off initially but kept at them and have been offered a $200 bookstore credit which i declined and was then offered a $500 credit. What has been your experience?

Who did you complain to? The offer of 1% off tuition is not enough to cover the expense of the books that are no longer included.
I have already ordered mine from Amazon
The 1% was insulting. I complained to academic advising as they suggested in the email we all got that said they weren't supplying books anymore.
What quarter ate you in travelrn? I am worried to find out the cost of our pathyophys and pharm texts
I'm in my 4th. Pharm and Health Assessment books cost $250 on Amazon, they are $350 at the university bookstore
That $500 credit i got doesn't look so good anymore.... Disgusting. What a scam.

If you're not someone that writes or highlights their books heavily, you could try going to Chegg.com, half.com, or B&N and just rent your books.
