Hello everyone!
I was accepted to Walden University's FNP program (BSN-MSN) that starts 10/7. I applied to other programs that start anywhere from several months to a year from now, but I found this school and was able to start quicker, so I'm going here instead.
I'm writing this thread for two reasons. One, I'd love to meet fellow classmates who are starting 10/7 with me! Two, I want to hear from current or past students their opinions on this program. Can't wait to start.

Hi @meltominoire, I'm actually going to be starting at Walden's MSN NP track 12/9, I wanted to comment because I noticed there weren't any responses yet. Hopefully you started and you're liking the program so far, I wish you well!

How is everyone liking the program so far? I'm considering starting this Summer but have heard interesting things about Walden.

The three Walden grads I hired to my clinic were absolutely useless. They could not do any clinical decision making without referencing algorithms, poor history taking skills, and did not know pharmacology to even prescribe anything appropriate for hypertension if someone had a co-morbid condition. Though there are Walden grads that are likely successful out there, there are 10 more that have insufficient medical knowledge and skill.
