Hello All, I recently got accepted at Walden university and 2 other universities for FNP program. I want to know if anyone is currently enrolled in Walden or anyone who graduated from FNP program at walden about their experience and workload. Thanks a lot in advance. I don't have much time as I have to accept the admission so I can start. So, your input will really help me. ?

This won’t last long here. But what are your other options. As Walden is the last place I would apply and as this carter gets saturated, you may find employers less than enthusiastic at hiring you.

I am a current student at Walden and the school is ridiculous. The student advising is a joke, the nursing program changes the policies as they go without informing you, what you are told in the beginning isnt what is really going on. The course work is do able and can be balanced with work but its all self study, not instructors but facilitators.

HI I am currently enrolled at Walden University int the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. I have 2 semesters remaining, I have had a good experience so far. I chose Walden because I have a busy schedule, and it fits my lifestyle. I am proud to say that I am a Walden University Student. I know several NP who have graduated from Walden, they all landed jobs with no problems. Good luck and stay positive.

I graduated from Walden FNP program over 6 years ago. I was part of the first class enrolled. I had a great experience at Walden. It is not for everyone. If you are not a self starter and need alot of hands on instruction it will not likely work well for you. I got a great education, set up all my own clinical with NO problems and graduated in 18 months. I have had a great career to date and have not regretted my decision to go to Walden for one second. People here will hate on Walden until their last breath...and it will still make no difference. You do you.
Hello, sorry for the delayed response. No I have not completed the program yet. Due to COVID my courses had been on hold (clinical were halted and then later cancelled). I will start again in June 2020; Walden University is allowing split of courses and clinical due to the current situation.
