Wake tech, Durham tech or Watts?

Has anyone been to any of these schools? Please share your experience. I would greatly appreciate it.

I went to Watts, and used to work for Durham Tech. DTCC's pass rate isn't too good, but they still graduate a good amount of nurses that go on to pass the NCLEX. Watts is difficult and much closer to the military mindset than other schools.

Overall, did you like Watts? I heard it was hard, its doable right? I know no nursing school should be easy, but I know if I stay focus and time manage I will be ok . How was it trying to get a job after you graduated? Thank you for sharing wookieRN. í ½í¸Š

Was Watts pretty expensive? Is it true that they provide tuition reimbursement if you work at Duke?

I had a job weeks before I graduated at Duke. Duke does do a tuition reimbursement of up to $25k over 3 years. You have to work in-patient (so no clinics, etc.) I think Watts is $7500/semester now (it was less when I started but I know they are doing a tuition increase for the Fall 2017 semester).

So you went to Watts and then transferred to Duke and graduated from Duke University? Did you like Watts when you were attending? I will be attending Watts in Jan 2018 so I'm very excited. I want to be a L&D nurse. So you enjoy being a Nurse? That's awesome how they have reimbursement since school is so expensive.

I actually graduated from Watts this past May. I currently work for Duke. They actually didn't reintroduce the loan reimbursement at DUHS until my third semester, and I'm hoping it sticks around. After 2 years of employment with them they also give up to $5500 in tuition reimbursement for a BSN, MSN, or DNP, which is cool.

That is really cool. How did you like Watts other than it was a challenge? Overall, did you enjoy it? How was the preadmissions test to get into the school? Did you use the study book they recommended?
