wake tech community college PRE-nursing students

Me!!!! I had intended to just go to school part time until clinicals started, but got laid off so... Full time school, here I come!!! What are you taking this semester??

yeah i was going to wake tech now i am trying to get into watts school of nursing i have a nursing info session there tomorrow then i am going to take the admissions test in late January or February yeah so i am hoping i get in

So then, how was the info session?? I'm sticking with Wake Tech- the cost is a big deciding factor for me, and I am comfortable with the campus location. :)

I am taking my pre-reqs at wake tech! However, I have not taken bio 155 AND I failed eng 111 the first time, so I doubt I'll get accepted :'(

@kml0807, I heard that even if you have all the pre-reqs for watts that you still have to take 18 credit hours at mount olive. Is that true?

But... You can take bio 155-- that's just nutrition, and if you take 111 again, you'll be

But... You could still take eng-111 again, and bio155 is just nutrition, that's not too hard. Did you take 111 online or in the classroom??? I got an A, even after our 'group paper' got a failing grade, and would be more than happy to help you if you like. Some instructors just expect a lot more, or different things than we expect.

i took the class on campus the teacher did not teach anything at all i had a b prior to the final exams and then had a d so yeah idk what happened and i didn't end up going to the watts son info session but yeah i think im just going to stay with wake tech also better choice

Yikes!! I took it online, and will be taking 112 online with the same instructor this semester-- he's pretty clear about what he wants, and is always quick to answer emailed questions. Not sure if I'm allowed to post who he is here or not. :) I really enjoyed his class-- and he grades fairly.

yeah i am taking eng 111 (again) , cis 111, psy 241 hum 115 ,spa 120 i know a tough course load but not really

That's not too bad!! I'm takin pay 241 also (online). You'll be alright!
