Hi! I wanted to start a forum for nurses applying to the Wake Forest CRNA class starting in August 2026. 

Has anyone heard back yet?

Congrats to you as well! I wasn't expecting a call that soon so I was pleasantly surprised. I wonder when they will send out the formal email because something in me just needs to see it in writing hahah.

It was a really great experience. You are able to talk to current students and a lot of the faculty. They even do a Q&A and a tour while waiting for your interview. Everyone is very personable which helped calm my nerves. They really want to know you as a person.

Anyone receives interview invites after September deadline?

I applied closer to the sept 1st deadline and I just got an email for an interview invite around 1500 today! I interview October 9th.

Hello, I got invited to interview and wanted to ask if anyone who has interviewed has any insights for interview. Are interviews more clinical based or EI? And I read from a couple posts back that there's an essay portion is this the case?

I just had my interview Oct 9th, and got my call same day! Can confirm no essay portion.

I got a call on the same day as well!! So excited to meet the Cohort!! 
 

To anyone going through this process don't give up! All you need is 1 yes. and cast a wide net! Some programs just really want to know you as person beyond your stats. Goodluck 🍀🍀

Not sure when the last interview date is, but final decisions are late Nov/early Dec.

 

Their interview was so nice compared to others - so many opportunities to decompress with the current SRNAs outside of the actual interview. They really wanted to know you as a person!

 

My thought process was that there was a 50% interview selection rate from applicants, and then a 50% acceptance rate from that pool- once you're in the door, you got a 50/50 shot! Take out the stress as best you can (I stayed at a hotel the night before & walked my route to the interview the day before too)

Anyone hear of people not getting called the same day they interviewed and still getting in ? Asking for a friend :’’)
