76 on the waitlist - Mohawk College

Hill I found out today that I am 76 on the waitlist for the RPN program at Mohawk College to start in September. I was told the deadline for first round of offers to accept was today and then they do second round which is when I would get an offer if there is space. Any idea if being 76 and still getting a seat is possible? or am I in wishful thinking mode and I should focus on my second choice?

What were you on the waiting list and did you get in?

What if I accept my second choice and then after my deposit is paid at that school Mohawk decide to give me a seat?

How many seats are in the class? Being 76 on a waitlist for a class of 20 is very different than being 76 on a waitlist for a class of 300. Also, re: your question about your second choice, you would most likely lose your deposit at your second choice if you choose to go to Mohawk instead.

There is about 40 per class. I know there are a number of classes. I just think 76 is pretty far down the list.

Perhaps someone reading the posts was that far on the list and can give their experience?

Yes In see I would loose my deposit.
