hey all,
i am waiting for one more letter of recommendation and my requirements for application to a particular school are complete. should i just get the application out in the mail and have that last letter "added" to my file, or should i wait? i know the deadline will be here sooner than later and i want to get my info to them asap. let me know if this is the right thing to do...
thanks

I would contact the school and ask. Some of them will add to the file and some want a complete application packet. I would probably go ahead and send it in if I had to guess.
Good luck!

hey all,I'd definitely send the application but make sure to follow up with the school after the recommendation is said to have been mailed to make sure that your application is complete. Some schools start the interview process even if the application isn't totally "complete". Best of luck,Z

Best bet, always ask. My school UT knoxville, did not allow the applicant to handle the reccomendations asfter send out the form to the reference, it had to be mail directly to the school. So if that is the case then send in your packet. The office of admission's, or maybe dean or directors office can help to let you know what they normally like. It is best to always follow strictly their recommendations. Best of luck
