Ok-- here's the deal.... walk me through what I need to get into CRNA school. Here's the run down.... I'm 26 and a Speech Language Pathologist- I have a B.S degree and a M.S. and I'm currently a rehab director at a rehab facility in TX. I got a really early start on college and was done with all of this at 23. I speak Spanish and have excellent grades on all transcripts. (B.S 3.7 and M.S 3.9) I will be done with nursing school in 16 more months and I am constantly contemplating, researching, and preparing for the next step. I know that ICU/CCU experience is needed... but what else can I do other than just meet all the "on paper" requirements that everyone else will have? I have talked with local CRNA's, but I want a broader scope of opinions from all of you guys. I know that I have a long way to go, but I have come far already and I am not easily intimidated by a new challenge. Please give me some good advice! Thank you!
