  1. good advice... unfortunately- I will worry about everything. I think there are pills for this sort of thing. :) Thanks for the advice
  2. Ok-- here's the deal.... walk me through what I need to get into CRNA school. Here's the run down.... I'm 26 and a Speech Language Pathologist- I have a B.S degree and a M.S. and I'm currently a rehab director at a rehab facility in TX. I got a really early start on college and was done with all of this at 23. I speak Spanish and have excellent grades on all transcripts. (B.S 3.7 and M.S 3.9) I will be done with nursing school in 16 more months and I am constantly contemplating, researching, and preparing for the next step. I know that ICU/CCU experience is needed... but what else can I do other than just meet all the "on paper" requirements that everyone else will have? I have talked with local CRNA's, but I want a broader scope of opinions from all of you guys. I know that I have a long way to go, but I have come far already and I am not easily intimidated by a new challenge. Please give me some good advice! Thank you!
  3. Yikes.
  4. I would contact the school and ask. Some of them will add to the file and some want a complete application packet. I would probably go ahead and send it in if I had to guess. Good luck!
  5. Hi! I am in need of some advice. I am a Speech Language Pathologist contemplating a change to nursing. Tell me the best and worst aspects to nursing and advice you wish you had before you started your career. I am very confused! Also- if you could do it all over, would you be in a different field? Thanks!
