Hi, I need all your advice. I have already finish all my requirements to get into the nursing program but unfortunately I was place in a waiting list on all 3 schools I applied to. This fall i have no idea what to do.
Should I take a class and become a CNA for a while?
Please give me advice of what I can do while waiting to get accepted.
Drug Calc, Pharmacology - and LAHC has a series of 3 classes - Nursing 301-A-B-C that are for pre-nursing, the catalog describes it as a math review, critical thinking, study skills, and tips to nursing success. None of which are required - but good "fillers" and added info -
Anyone taken them ?
They are all given by RN program staff so it night be a good intro.

I took Medical Terminology, Pharamacology and Drug Calculations at Santa Monica College (7 units total) while I was waiting to hear back from schools. Best thing I ever did. Now that I'm in the middle of my first semester at MSMC, I find that things are little easier and the classes just build on the knowledge I received from people that are working in the field. The information passed on by them went way beyond the basic subject matter.
