Waiting for my ATT for 5 weeks now.

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi,

a little background:

this is about retaking the NCLEX in California. I failed the NCLEX in November 2018. I instantly reapplied with the board, paid etc and got approved in December 2018. But life happened and I just couldn't focus on NCLEX. Fast forward to now and I am ready!! 5 weeks ago I made a payment to Pearson Vue and usually after you pay them you instantly or within an hour/day receive an email from the Boards with your ATT but I haven't received that.

I logged into my Ca board of nursing account ( Breeze) and saw it still says I have been approved to take the test. Okay. Now I log into Pearson Vue and usually they ask for your ATT when you try to schedule the test but I don't even see where to click to schedule the NCLEX.

What should I do? any tip helps

Perhaps you have to resubmit your transcript? The reason why my ATT took so long to receive after graduation was because they failed to notify me that my transcript I had sent was missing something on it. Had I not emailed them to check in, I wouldn't have known. After resending my transcript I received my ATT less than 48 hrs later. I would contact Pearson Vue via phone if possible to sort it out. Contacting them directly might get you your quickest answer.

Thank you for your response,

but I don't think that is the issue because the board already okayed my application in 2018 but I haven't taken the NCLEX since then and Pearson also accepted my payment and application. My thought was maybe since it was in 2018 it "expired" but that wouldnt make sense. I know that ATT has an expiration but not the board. Thats whats confusing.

Ooh sorry I misread! Honestly I would just call Pearson Vue, they would be able to pull up your account and should be able to tell you exactly what's going on! Since it was so long ago, there may be a chance something expired. The whole process itself is complicated even when done in a normal timeframe so I'm not surprised you're having issues. I wish you the best of luck. I'm curious to hear what's going on if you do call though ?
