I am a recent high school graduate. I understand that there's a wait time on being accepted in a nursing program. Would taking requirements likeanatomy, physiology, microbiology, chemistry, nutrition, and psychology be nessary? Would those credits count in a nursing degree program?

Every program has different requirements, but most are competitive entry and "waiting" won't get you in. Contact the program you're interested in or see if they have a website. Many do.
Thanks for your feedback, what exactly am I looking for when I contact them or go on their website?

It's not that there is a "waiting time" to enroll in a nursing program. It's that in order for your application to be considered you will have had all the required coursework (pre-requisites) completed satisfactorily.
You will need to look at the school you're interested in for the specifics of WHAT pre-requisites are expected to be completed prior to application to the nursing program. It varies by school. The minimum GPA for these courses is also a factor; some schools are exceptionally competitive when it comes to placement and less than a 3.9 won't get you in the door. Others can have a low 3 GPA and get in no problem. Really depends on where you go (or want to go).

When you go on their website look for their admissions requirements page or "information for prospective students" page. This should provide a starting point for figuring out what you need to do if you wish to be accepted by that program. There should also be contact information for getting more information about the program. Many schools also offer information sessions where they answer commonly asked questions about their admissions processes and their program, upcoming sessions are also often posted on the website.
