Hi All!
I know this is super early to start this thread, but I wanted to make a space where people looking to begin the Wagner program in 2016 can talk and share ideas about the application process.
I am currently taking my prerequisite classes at the College of Staten Island. I will be finishing them in May 2016, but I plan on beginning my application as soon as possible.
My BA is in Psychology from Saint Francis College and I am also a licensed massage therapist.
What about everyone else?
I am finishing A&P II and Nutrition right is and will be done by May.
The interview was fairly relaxed for me. I met with a professor and they asked things like why do you feel nursing is a career for you? Why Wagner? Things like that.
As far as a 70 on TEAS V I don't know. They said you must score in the proficient grading area in each section which I believe is around a 65-70. Could be mistaken.
Hi All! I got accepted to the Fall 2016 cohort as well. Congrats to everyone that has been accepted and also those that are waiting to hear back!
I have all my pre-req's completed and am scheduled to take the TEAS end of May. Any specific study guides that I should look into to prepare?
I had my interview on April 6th and received my acceptance in the mail about 1 week later (my letter was dated 4.14). The interview was very fluid and like someone said before, be yourself, be genuine and demonstrate what is unique about you!

I got a letter in the mail saying I have been conditionally accepted into the program. I just have to pass the remaining prerequisites and to send me transcripts.
I am very excited to start in the fall. Keep an eye on your mail everyone.
