  1. Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I had my interview and got a letter in the mail about two weeks later.
  2. Welcome to Facebook try that
  3. Try this link Welcome to Facebook
  4. Hey everyone, I was also accepted and started the Facebook group. It's call Wagner Second Degree Nursing Class of 2017. Feel free to join and I'll add you as soon as I can (cmon there's only two of us in it so far).
  5. Congratulations Stephanie. I just made a group for all of us to connect and we can even use it during the school year to help one another. I named it Wagner Second Degree Nursing Class of 2017
  6. I am finishing A&P II and Nutrition right is and will be done by May. The interview was fairly relaxed for me. I met with a professor and they asked things like why do you feel nursing is a career for you? Why Wagner? Things like that. As far as a 70 on TEAS V I don't know. They said you must score in the proficient grading area in each section which I believe is around a 65-70. Could be mistaken.
  7. I got a letter in the mail saying I have been conditionally accepted into the program. I just have to pass the remaining prerequisites and to send me transcripts. I am very excited to start in the fall. Keep an eye on your mail everyone.
  8. Honestly, I would send everything you can ASAP. I know the priority deadline was February so I assume they will sort through those applications first. I got everything in by then and I already had an interview and I am just awaiting an admissions decision. As far as loans go, I don't really know. I assume FAFSA would be a great place to start and to ask the Financial Aid office if we get accepted. I know I will need loans if I get in so I will let everyone know if I hear anything.
  9. The TEAS V was 4 sections and took my about an hour and 40 minutes to complete. The reading section was a lot of just read the passage and answer questions, or here is a series of instructions to follow, what is the result. The math I thought was very straight forward, just a lot of order of operations and percentages and using fractions. The science was the toughest part, just because it covers the widest amount of material. If you have time I feel a study book would not be bad. If you are crunched for time, like I was, I would just review the basics of earth science, chem, A&P, and biology. It's nothing too difficult just a lot of material. Online practice questions were also very helpful just to know what kinds of questions they will ask.
  10. I don't know about what hospitals they do rotations at. I believe the first rotation is at a nursing home on Staten Island. I will try to find out more. I took the TEAS V, which I thought was fair and had my interview this week. The interview went well. It was not anything very intense. Just be yourself and explain why you want to be a nurse and why Wagner. Hoping to hear back in a few weeks.
  11. Hey, I'm Rich. I submitted my application for the accelerated nursing program for the fall of 2016. I recently got an email for an interview. I have my interview next week, along with taking my TEAS V exam next week too. Fingers crossed. Anyone else in a similar boat?
