Wagner College ABSN - Fall 2021

Published

Hello, I have an interview next Monday and was wondering if anyone already had theirs. If so, do you mind sharing your experiences and some general questions that were asked?

I took it in person before and I prefer online! The calculator works the same way in person and online. I was afraid of technical issues but I did the tests that they require before the actual test and I didn’t have any problem.

Hi guys! I received my acceptance yesterday as well!! ???

I also received an acceptance from Molloy College last week and now I have to make a decision. I think I prefer Wagner but it’s $20,000 more expensive than Molloy. Does anybody have any insights to give me that could help me to make a decision?? ?

Thank you!! Congratulations too!! ?

I live in Atlanta right now but moving to that area soon. I will be probably living in Jersey City but potentially living in Brooklyn depending where I decide to study. Do you live in Staten Island?

I do and honestly do NOT want to travel and waist time in traffics ever and ever again!

Congratulations guys!! Can’t wait to see you in August ?

Hi, everyone! I just learned about Wagner's ABSN and am grateful for what I've learned in this forum! I reached out to the admissions office this weekend but thought I'd ask some questions here as well...

Does anyone know how many students they admit for the ABSN program? I assume it's too late for me to apply for the Fall 2021 start, so I'll have to wait until the next admission cycle... I have all of my pre-reqs completed, including the TEAS and BLS certification.

And can someone clarify what tuition is for the 15-month program (without financial aid/scholarships/loans)? That part is still unclear.

Good luck to everyone who is still waiting for acceptance.

Hi, everyone! I just learned about Wagner... I'd love to know why you all chose this school.

And does anyone know how many students they admit to the ABSN program each year?

I wish everyone much luck, and thanks for your help!

Hey, they admit around 60 students per year in the ABSN program. Tuition is still unclear for us as well since they haven't calculated the last two semesters yet. For the fall and Spring semester, tuition + fees is $50,330 but that is not including books and other costs. Many students and I have calculated the total cost of the entire program to be around $75,000. ABSN students also get a 10% discount.

Hope this helps!

Thank you SO much! You are so kind to take a moment to respond.

And oof! The cost is higher than I thought and about 15,000 higher than I had calculated from their website. I wish schools would be more clear/upfront about these things, because affordability is important, especially as this is the 2nd (or 3rd, in my case!) degree for us.

Is the $75,000 after the 10% discount? Do you know if they have generous financial aid/scholarships?

I've reached out to admissions in various ways, but no response yet. I'll keep trying. Thank you again!
