Wagner College ABSN - Fall 2021

Published

Hello, I have an interview next Monday and was wondering if anyone already had theirs. If so, do you mind sharing your experiences and some general questions that were asked?

Yeah so whoever needs to finish Nutrition has until August 1st but TEAS needs to be done by June 1st.

Ahh OK, thanks for checking!

Hi everyone!! Whoever got their TEAS exams already  - May you please share what books or websites were helpful, any challenges, any helpful tricks.... thank you!

Hey Guys! It’s been a while since anyone posted. Did you get your acceptance letters? We can connect before the program start in fall 2021.

Awesome! I’ve sent a request!

Does anyone know if Wagner allows students to take Pharmacology through Portage before the program start?

Definitely Brandon Craft for Math. For Reading the only thing that helped me was solve as much timed practice questions I could because the time is what makes this section hard, so you have to get used to it. Science I used all the resources available on Youtube but the base was the mometrix book. English I like the explanations from Khan Academy, but it was my worse score (no idea why bc I was pretty confident after getting above 90 on the practice tests). And if you can, buy the practice tests B and C from ATI TEAS. Good luck!! ?

Hi Anna, I actually took the exam today and I found the ATI TEAS SECRETS study guide from Amazon to be super helpful for math, reading and ELA. Science was very challenging for me as it covers A&P, general bio and Chemistry. There’s just so much info within these topics. But I found Susanna Heinze on Youtube to be super helpful for A&P!

I took my TEAS exam back in January and tbh it was not that bad. The science is not really complex. The most challenging for me were hormones. I suggest doing a chart with hormones, function organ all that good stuff. (negative/ positive feedbacks) for math Brandon Craft will be your savior. Reading was actually my lowest score so don't neglect that section.

Thank you, did you take it online or at testing center?

I’m still waiting for an answer- for me it’s been 3 weeks since my interview - hopefully soon, I believe it took exactly 3 weeks for the first round interviewers.

I took it online (April 10th).
