WAGNER ABSN FALL 2019

Published

Hey just wanted to start a thread for Wagner's ABSN Fall 2019 cohort.

Is Wagner everyone's first choice? It used to be mine but I interviewed for Pace today and am now leaning towards Pace

Yeah the toll is insane. I live in Brooklyn.

On the positive side it’s only one way. Hopefully my clinicals won’t be passed the bridge

Wagner is much much much more prestigious, organized and just overall better than Pace. I decided to not even go to my Pace interview.

If you get into pace you should definitely go!!

I’ve spoken to a lot of people who went to Phillips. The associates program is one of the best but the ABSN is extremely new so it’s very disorganized as of now and a lot of the work won’t be done with the help of your professors it’s a lot of self learning, which some people prefer. But I believe still ahead of Pace. Phillips is the first school I was accepted too but not at the top of my list.

I disagree. Most Pace students come out with a job offer before graduation and their ABSN student NCLEX pass rate is 99%. Wagner is very good as well but I'd say Pace is definitely on a higher pedestal. The faculty said only about 3 students out of the 150+ traditional and ABSN students will receive a job offer before graudation.

I agree. They are very disorganized. I have friends who applied to one program and somehow got accepted into another program.

I like Wagner because it small and close knit. And the education is better because everyone basically knows everyone. I applied to NYU and LIU as well

We just have different sources then because that’s not really what I heard at all.
