Vorfreude stethoscope experiences?

Has anyone ever owned and/or used a Vorfreude stethoscope? I read a review that they were lighter than a Littmann but offered comparable acoustic quality. I've never owned one but before I buy I figured some of you might have had one.

Care to share experiences? Thanks!

I tried them twice; two separate times, and ended up returning it. The problem is the diaphragm falls out on a regular basis; when the diaphragm stays in, it is the best stethoscope ever for listening to heart and lung sounds. If they can fix the problem with tyhe diapghram it wuld be better than Littman.

This, I had the same problem, also you can get the exact same model on Ebay for about $14 bucks. Its just fancy marketing that they put a German word on the package. Pro-snake Professional Cardiology Stethoscope Black Super Home Ear Tips Health | eBay

interesting. I was curious about the RA Bock, which is how I heard about Vorfreude (which now looks like they're shut down). This link doesn't work, but you can still search and find it. Might be a super cheap way to test out this style of stethoscope.

I also think mpabraham's review of the MDF Sprague on Amazon is one of the reasons I purchased it. However, going into nursing school it's easy to get wrapped up in the cardiology IV craze and the "don't buy a dual tube".
