Mercury Exposure

On October 2, 2003 students at Ballou High School in Washington D.C. stole a container of mercury that was in an unsecured high school lab. Below on the article about the spreading contamination in reverse chronological order. Since October 2, the school has been closed and further contamination has been located throughout the community. The fifth residential building containing 17 apartments has been evacuated. A mini registration will be required to see the articles below.

Oh my god. This is awful. I remember a very talented professor/scientist at Dartmouth(??) college died a slow miserable death from minimal exposure to mercury. I remember thinking how much fun it was as a kid when the thermeter broke to roll around the bead of mercury.
