LPN in Canada wanting to do missionary work

I am 21 years old and I have been an LPN for almost a year. I am currently taking my pre-reqs that I need in order to get into the LPN bridging program at the University. I am very interested in going to a third world country this summer. I have been doing lots of research but it seems to me that all the places that I find are located in the States. Does anyone know any any organizations in Canada that go do missionary work? If anyone can provide me with any information thatd be great. Thank you

Are you going to pay your own way, or are you looking for some type of organization to sponsor your travel? When you say missonary work, do you mean volunteer nursing with a religious component?

By the way how do your parents feel about this? Your 21 years old your not a baby but the advisement of elders is a good thing. here is safety in parents God bless take care
