I was wondering if anybody has became a nurse through a vocational school? I want to become an LPN (and future BSN) and there's a community college that offers the course as well as a vocational school. Both are accredited programs. But the vocational school had cheaper tuition. A lot of people tell me vocational schools are no good but I never knew why. Any success stories from someone who went to a vocational/trade school? thanks!

I would conjecture that probably half of the people on this forum earned their PN education at a trade school or vocational school.
I attended a private nonprofit trade school LVN program, as well as an investor-owned LPN-to-ASN transition program.
