What is the significance of a patient's vitals when he is diagnosed with diverticulitis?

Well, how old is the patient? Other than the fever, those vitals would be beautiful for a pediatric patient but not necessarily for an adult. And do you have a baseline on this person?

Which only makes it more difficult to respond to the scenario. If his VS are T 98.4, HR 84, RR 18 and BP 118/70 then there's nothing to be said about them in relation to diverticulitis.
