Visitor's visa for Guam/Saipan?

Published

Do you need a visitor's visa to sit in for NCLEX in Guam or Saipan? Is it advisable? HK is currently full. Maybe some1 plans to cancel or

reschedule just let me know. pm or email me. I know some1 who badly wants to take it in HK anywhere bet. bet Nov 14 up to the 1st half if dec. thanks. :)

There is a special 3 or 4 day visa that is available for Guam and Saipan without having to go thru all of the visa stuff that is routinely needed.

Check it out and Good Luck. You can also check out Seoul, Korea. There is a center there as well, and may be easier for you to get to.

Thanks Suzanne. Welcome back. Hope you like your new place. :)

I love it. Thank you.

Just an added note, if someone cancels their appt in Hong Kong, they cannot pick the person who will fill that space. That is up to the Pearson-Vue center to do that. They only submit their cancellation and select their new date since that time slot no longer is theirs.

Oh.. Ok. I hope its 1st call 1st serve too. That way if some1 PM/email me they're gonna cancel at this particular date and time, my friend will be the 1st to call. he, he.:)

Pls. email/Pm me for those who wants to cancel/reschedule.

I notice most just cancel/resched 24-72 hours before their appt., sometimes in groups of 10 and the test center is left with lots of vacants slots on the day of the appt. because no one can go to HK in such a short notice of time.

So. for those who thinks they're not ready 1-2 weeks before their appt. pls. be considerate to others who wants the slot and cancel/resched at least 1-2 weeks before. Let's face it.. if you think you're not ready 1-2 weeks before.. cramming won't do aything.

Thanks, again Suzanne. :)

Can you help us go about getting the special 3 or 4 day visa available for guam and saipan and how much will it cost? thanks

Hi! I took the NCLEX in Saipan in 2005.... I don't remember paying for the visitor's visa... What I did was fax them all documents like NBI clearance, ATT, passport, and letter stating the reason of your visit...then like a week before your departure, they will be faxing your visitor's visa. and that's it!...though I can say it will be much more expensive than HK... My husband accompanied be on my trip and for an overnight stay in a not so good hotel, we paid $500+ each...I hope this info would help...

This is an old thread. There are many more threads of similar topic both here and in the Phil. nursing forum.

The better travel agencies usually handle the Visitor's Entry Permit (VEP) for their clients and would only need to give the req'ts such as an NBI clearance for travel abroad, ATT and the like. There is no fee for the VEP as well and you can actually do this on your own but most travel agencies do this for you anyway so no need to make a hassle out of it.
