VisaScreen online application problem

Published

Hi! I tried applying for my VisaScreen online but I encountered some problems, particularly with the "for nurses only" questions. It seems the answers I provided in the online questions do not jibe with what appears in the auto-filled application form. Has anyone ever had the same problem as this? I'm stumped as to what to do. :banghead: I tried calling CGFNS but they were asking for my CGFNS ID#, which I don't have yet because I haven't paid the fee yet. I didn't want to risk paying the whole $448 with those kinds of inconsistencies in my application form. Any advice? Thanks!

Why not print it out and post to them. Better this way in case there are any errors.

Thanks for the reply, Silverdragon102. Yeah, I've actually thought about doing that but a lot of people told me of the "advantages" of doing the application online--how everything is faster, how you can check your status online (more convenient and everything), etc. My bigger problem really is that my brother, who's in the US, is the one paying for the VisaScreen by credit card. If I go by the option of posting the document, I would need his signature for the credit card payment (I'm here in the Philippines).

Anyway, thanks for the reply! I just thought I should ask here if anyone has gone through the same problem and if they could give me advice on how to go on. Apparently, it seems I'm the only one having this kind of problem.

You could always send it to him to sign and then he forwards it on. With retrogression there is no rush

I always recommend the mail form for this application, one wrong letter or number on the application form and it can take forever to get it corrected. If not corrected and you submit for a second acct with them, they you can be charged for both if one is not cancelled.

You can send the form to your brother and then have him complete the part for the credit card part and send it on for you. You have quite a bit of time to get this done in, there is no rush for it. It is only needed for if and when you have your interview at the US Embassy.

Thanks, Silverdragon and Suzanne for the help! I'll take both your advice and just mail the documents to my brother. It probably is safer that way. And you're right, at this time, there's no rush anyway. I was even thinking of not doing the VisaScreen yet but I didn't want my IELTS result to expire.

So, all the way from the Philippines, a BIG thank you for the quick replies!! :thankya:
