Hi, there, I have 2 quick questions.
1, I am applying for visascreen and got a letter from CGFNS today which said I need to send them " License Validation/ Registration which is my diploma in original language with English translations directly from my nursing school". Dose anyone here know what the document is this? In my case, I have never rigestered in my country, I am really confused about this and don't know what to do next.
2, I am preparing NCLEX_RN and did some practice quesitions in SAUNDERS. The percentage of correct answer for me is about 80%-90%. However, I don't feel I am ready at all. So I want to ask someone here who has already passed the exam successfully, what was your percentage before taking the test and did you feel you were ready at that time? Aslo, how many questions did you practised before the test?:chair:
Thanks a lot everyone!!!

Hi Alina,
I guess your preparation is very good. I passed NCLEX-RN with 75 Questions, I did not practice the saunders but I had around 70% score in average while practicing other books. The more questions you practice the better you are prepared so practice at least 3000 questions.
About your CGFNS visa screen certificate, as far as I know, your nursing school diploma should be sent by your school to CGFNS and u need ur initial and current license validation form sent to CGFNS directly by the registration authority. In other words, if u r licensed in your country u need to send the form to ur licensing body and they will fill up and send to CGFNS plus u also need to pass either CGFNS or NCLEX-RN exam, and if u are not licensed in ur country u need to pass the US licensing exams and ask ur State board to send that information to CGFNS.

Not all countries have licensing exams, some just go use the Diploma as proof of graduation and licensing. That is what they are waiting for, if you were able to work in your home country as an RN. If you never got a license there, then you need to tell them that. They are still waiting for proof that you passed either CGFNS or the NCLEX here as well.
Hi, Suzanne,
Thanks a lot for the quick reply. Could you explain to me more about how I can tell CGFNS that I have never registered in my country? By telling them myself though the phone or write a letter? Or by asking my nursing school to write a letter about this situation to them? Or, I can ignore this because I will take the NCLEX soon? Thanks!
Just send them a letter that you were never licensed in your country. Simple as that.
