Visalia Adult LVN

Anyone who has taken the c-net test for Visalia adult school, what is the average score they accept? I just got my score today in the mail. I received an 86. I know they base the people they choose who to interview from their scores but they also do it off a curve. I was just wondering if i had a chance. Waiting a month to hear from them to see if I have an interview seems like forever.

whoowee glad that's over....I was nervous and excited at the same time...all they asked was what was my support system ...what have I done to help with this program....what are some characteristics I carry that would contribute to me as a nurse... tell them about a conflict I had with a coworker and how did I handle it ....that was basically it....I have a good feeling im really excited!!

I have mine in wednesday i am super nervous. I have talked to two of the lvn instructors since somehow they became my subs for a cna class i finished. They're advice i am taking into play anf thanks for your help with what they ask. I am a wreck in interviews i'm just too nervous.

SO, I attended visalia adult school for the lvn program about 3 years ago, i was a certified nursing assistant, took the entrance exam without studying and got right into the program. I personally though the program itself was very easy. during the program i held a part time job where i worked any where from 25-35 hours a week, and help about a 3.8 GPA, I had one B. Sounds like a great story, right? WRONG. i was one of the students who were dropped from the program near the end. WHY? because of some lame excuse they used against me which made it very hard for me to fight back. TOTALLY shattered my world, thought about changing majors, but then i finished school at west hills. i am now a rn, finished all the classes required to go to the medical school i want, im currently prepping for the MCAT.

MY POINT - THESE TEACHERS WILL DROP YOU FROM THE PROGRAM NO MATTER HOW WELL YOU DO. IF THEY DON'T LIKE YOU, THEY WILL FIND A REASON TO DROP YOU, AND MAKE SURE YOU CANNOT FIGHT BACK. THEY WILL TRY TO SHATTER YOUR DREAMS. ONE OF MY CO- WORKERS ACTUALLY TAUGHT AT THE SCHOOL AND FEELS THE SAME WAY. YOUR CLASSES FROM VISALIA ADULT SCHOOL WILL NOT TRANSFER OVER TO ANY OTHER SCHOOL.

just letting you in on my sob story, but they sure did not shatter my dreams, im an rn, on my way to medical school, i wish they would see me now. PATHETIC.

Thanks for the insight i have all my prereqs done from west hills and cos so i dont care about the classes transferring i just want my lvn so i can do the bridge program and if it doesnt work out there i have back up plans.
