Anyone who has taken the c-net test for Visalia adult school, what is the average score they accept? I just got my score today in the mail. I received an 86. I know they base the people they choose who to interview from their scores but they also do it off a curve. I was just wondering if i had a chance. Waiting a month to hear from them to see if I have an interview seems like forever.

I just tested on the 12th of july....congrats on your score...I got a 76:/....not sure if that's gonna fly...I was reading on other forums you need to get at least a 40% in all categories? or is it 50%..you most likely have a chance that's a good score to have.
That's when I tested also. Just having to wait is so hard. Well goodluck to you!!!
I know! Good luck to you too.
Congratulations!!

Congrats to you both!!! My cousin and I also have been invited to interview, and have already turned in out application and information. A lady from the adult school called to schedule my interview already. October 15th!!!! YIKES lol. I have interviewed many times before for employment, but this interview means more to me than any job interview I have ever had!!!!!! I was wondering if you have any idea what they may be asking, besides the obvious "Why do you want to be a nurse"... Just curious.I know I interview well, I would like to help my cousin who has less experience in that area with the interview process.
OH, Just FYI for anyone who is planning on taking the test, or has questions about scores....... I was invited to the interview, and my score was 112 out of 150 questions. I placed in the 75th percentile, which means that out of 3400 students who were used to make the cnet test, I scored higher than 75 percent of them.
I talked to someone at the Visalia Adult School who told me that your reading comprehension, and language ability are far more important than the math section. Even though these are my scores, when you test for the program, you are basically testing against all 300 of the other testers. In other words, they are going to take the highest scores from the group.
Congratulations..I just finished turning in all my paperwork today. From what I know about what they ask you is like if you have any prior experience. If you are going to be working and going to school. Where are you going to be getting your finances from. What is the job of an lvn. Stuff like that. Well goodluck in the interview.
