Visa Screen Certificate -checking of status

Good day everyone. I've a quick question. Does the ICHP/CGFNS give you a notice when they get your visa screen application? Coz I'm curious about checking the status of my application and I understand that there is a number I can call in order to do that, but I would need my CGFNS number,which of course will be coming from them. Do they include that number in the notice or what? Common sense is telling me they would, but I just want to make sure! :chuckle Oh, and how long does it usually take before you hear back from them (get the notice I mean). Thanks y'all!

You can register online and check your status without having to ring all the time. I recieved my Visa screen in just over 5 months but it has taken alot longer for some reason to recieve my CES report. When I started ringing them I didn't have a number, they used my name details and then they told me the number so I could use it in future. The phone number is on their website http://www.cgfns.org

If you have a ICHP/CGFNS ID number then you can create a CGFNSD/ICHP account. Go to http://www.cgfns.org and click on "apply online. Just follow the instructions. If you have a CGFNS account then you can check your status online.

Depending on where you live, it can take about 2 months for you to receive your number. Unfortunately, you cannot access anyhting on their website without it.
