Hi guys! Just submitted my application for VCU's CRNA program with a tentative start date of January 2026. Anyone else applied yet?
Jennifer Floyd said:Does anyone know how many applications they received vs first round interviews vs cohort size? Do they have separate cohort sizes for each campus? I haven't run across those numbers, but also haven't looked too hard.
Per the website cohort sizes- Richmond 30-35, Abingdon10-12, Roanoke 6-8, Northern Virginia 8-10. No clue on applicants/interview size!

It says the school picks the questions but doesn't seem like it'll be clinical in nature. Just trying to see if I should brush up on anything before taking it. TIA and good luck all
I did it for another school. You get a prompt, one minute to think about it and then 30-90 seconds to record on your computer camera/microphone. The amount of time to record depends on what they allotted it for. So that range is a guess. Then you move on to the next question.
Hope that helps.

Im wondering if they are clinical based questions or more personality and problem solving? Thinking it's more like the CASPER but seems like the school can pick questions so maybe a combination of both. Guess we'll all find out! Good luck everyone 🤞🏼

Yeah they only allow you to do one attempt per question. They offer unlimited practice sessions to help get into the flow of the interview though which is nice.

One attempt. Generally 60 seconds to prepare your answer and 60 to record your answer. The platform allows you to try practice questions. I feel like the questions are always so random. Like I got one about meds one time and then alter in the same interview got asked who I find most inspiring.

Thank you. Atleast there are practice questions.

You got a med question before? I was hoping this was simply EI/personality based LOL. Do you mind me asking if the med question you had was similar to any in-person interview med questions? (If applicable). Or how you'd rate it on difficulty scale. Thanks!

That is strange! At least you got the important one though!! I'm super curious too and if it's a specific # per site or altogether.
