Hi guys! Just submitted my application for VCU's CRNA program with a tentative start date of January 2026. Anyone else applied yet?
Has anyone taken a Kira assessment before or knows anything about it? Looking into it, it looks like it'll be a personality test to some extent? It says the school picks the questions but doesn't seem like it'll be clinical in nature. Just trying to see if I should brush up on anything before taking it. TIA and good luck all

I never received that email. Did anybody else? Is this true? Trying not to spiral haha!
I would send them an email and make sure your application wasn't missed!

I received that email two weeks ago and on Wednesday followed up. They stated Kira interview invites would be sent by end of business day Friday. I received a Kira invite for the Richmond campus today, April 3. Kira interviews must be completed by next Sunday before midnight. They said within 2-4 weeks from then, invites would go out for live interviews. If you do not receive an invite by tomorrow, I assume you'll receive a rejection letter shortly since they stated all Kira invites would be sent out for all campuses by tomorrow. I asked specifically in my follow up email.

I received an invite to interview, I just never received the email update that was sent two weeks ago. I guess it's fine. But I should follow up about email communication to make sure I'm not missed again.
Good afternoon
We are pleased to update you on the progress of your application to our January 2026 entry-to-practice DNAP program cohort. The admissions committee has been very impressed with the caliber of applicants this year, and we are moving forward with the interview process.
We are pleased to announce an exciting change to this year's admissions process. We have designed a two-stage interview experience to allow us to better assess your qualifications and get to know you more personally.
Round 1: Asynchronous Video Interviews
We will begin with asynchronous video interviews, offering you the flexibility to showcase your skills and personality at your convenience.
Invitations for these first-round interviews will be sent out the week of April 1st.
Round 2: Live Virtual Interviews
Following a successful first round, selected candidates will be invited to a live virtual interview. This will provide an opportunity to connect with our faculty and further discuss your qualifications.
Invitations for these live interviews will be sent out at the end of May and will be conducted in the first few weeks of June.
Final Decisions:
We anticipate communicating final admission decisions to all applicants by July 1st.
We understand this multi-stage interview process is a change, and we are confident it will enable us to build an exceptional cohort of future CRNAs. We are committed to providing you with a transparent and supportive experience throughout this process.
We appreciate your continued interest in our program and look forward to getting to know you better. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,

I received the email as well. Stating it would be two parts. Part one an asynchronous Kira interview. Part two would be a live virtual interview.
