Is anyone in here applying for the upcoming VCU CRNA application cycle for January 2025 start?

What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing acceptance into the VCU DNAP program, with some receiving acceptance emails and others being waitlisted. There is confusion about finding the Facebook group for the program, questions about relocation requirements for the program, and a discussion on the differences between a DNP and DNAP degree in terms of teaching opportunities. Some members share their excitement about getting accepted, while others seek advice on reapplying to the program.

Planning to apply late this year, January 2024. Any tips?

Hello, I am applying in January 2024 as well! Is it just me or did the program page say that there were no required prereqs the day prior to the application opening?

Does the program not start until 2025? For the applicaiton that just opened?

Yes, this cohort will start January 2025.

Yes I am applying also. Anyone have insight in the interview style questions?

Hi! From reading previous forums, it seems that last year's interview was through a prerecorded platform. Some said that there were some clinical questions.

I'm working on my application now.

Hey all! Also planning on applying for 2025 start. Not sure if anyone would know but is the Richmond (main) campus the more desired campus? I realized that the Alexandria campus would probably be a better fit but there's also less slots so not sure if I would be shooting myself in the foot trying to apply for a slot there instead of Richmond.

Those pre-recorded interviews are the worst. I always seem to do poorly on them.

You can ask to see if they offer alternative sites if accepted.

Anyone know when they offer interviews? I know deadline is not until March.
