Hey everyone,

This form is for all VCU CRNA 2024 applicants to discuss the upcoming CRNA cohort. Everyone introduce yourself and give a little background about your experience. Tell us what campus you are applying to and ask any questions about the application process. If you have applied previously, please share your experiences that you had during the application process.

How important is having your CCRN to get accepted? My overall GPA is like a 3.3 (I didn't try to hard in my earlier years) but my nursing and science are both about a 3.75. Do I have a snow balls chance of getting accepted?

Quick question, for anybody really. I submitted my app for Richmond two weeks ago, I've had a great time speaking with a VCU CRNA alumni and she had great things to say about the program. I'm really hoping I get an invite to interview, and I know the website says they are typically in May, but I may have to make a trip out of the country and I don't want the dates to conflict. Does anybody know round-about dates for potential interviews?

Just an email that said my application had been received and that they would be reviewing applications after the March 1 deadline. I submitted about three weeks before the deadline and this email came on 2/27.

I know they have had a record number of applications this year so I am sure it will take some time to go through them all. Good luck, I hope you get good news!

Received email that they plan to make final decisions to all candidates no later than July 1. interviews will be virtual again this year, they anticipate interview invitations to go to selected candidates by mid-May. The Interviews will take place around the end of May/beginning of June.

I applied for Richmond campus. VCU CRNA program seems like such an innovative and diverse community. I hope I'm invited for an interview.
