You will need to attend school for at least two years to be able to get the BSN here in the US. You will still need to complete all of the actual nursing classes, and then it would depend on which previous credits that the school would want to accept from what you have already done. A degree in medicine does not prepare you for being a nurse.
Please be aware that many of the schools in the US have a waiting list even for the American students that are here, so it will not be getting in immediately. You will need to apply to each school on an individual basis for acceptance.

I did remove it from your board when I saw it. It was actually posted on a thread that was over one year old. It is now on the International forum. This happens quite a bit when someone is posting for the first time.
And the title of the post was not changed , states Vietnamese doctor wishes to become RN.

I'm HUNG PHAM THAI , 24 years old , Vietamese . i've just graduated from the University of Medicine of Ho Chi Minh City, faculty of Medicine . My toefl score is 543 with 4 in the TWE and my academic qualification is over 7.0/10.0 . I want to study NURSING and get BSN in USA . Can i reduce the time of nursing program because i learned some credits in Vietnam ? how can i register ?
