This might be a silly question, but i'm really curious. I just want to know from other ppl about what method was used to contact you about a job offer, i.e. phone, email, letter...
Also, if you were contacted via phone, do they usually go through information pertaining to salary and benefits, or do they send you materials after you accepted? or both?

I was contacted via phone and salary was gone over on the phone, but not benefits. I'm sure I could have asked about them though. I just didn't need them. I would never accept a job where salary wasn't gone over before hand.

The Nurse Manager interviewed me first in person then the HR person called me up later and she interviewed me too in person. Before I left, the HR already discussed how much I'll be getting and what the benefits are. Later on she gave me a letter and a packet about it.
