So after months of worrying and waiting and going to inpatient treatment and IOP followup, I finally started my monitoring agreement yesterday. Of course I'm selected for a UDS my very first day. I checked in while I was still in bed and immediately went to the lab so I could give them the first void of the day. It was dark and definitely concentrated. Even the tech agreed that it looked like a good sample.
FF to this morning and I log in to Affinity and guess what? My specimen was abnormal and dilute. WTH? I'd had no liquids in almost 10 hours. I don't drink outside of mealtimes. In fact I NEED to drink more water because my skin and lips are so dry. I don't know what else I could have done.
Abnormal. Not positive. I've had 3 in 4 years 228 days but who's counting? Once on a Friday, holiday weekend I got a non negative, wth. Turned out to be dilute. My advice is to talk to your Casemanager.
