i just started the essent. of nursing care: health safety. could someone please verify that i purchased the correct book: fund of nursing concepts, process, and practice 8th edition.
thanx
also can someone please tell me if ec enforces writing care plans?
one book ec requires is mosby's guide to nursing dx (2006); however, i can not find it. can someone tell me if the next edition will work as good without confusing me? the content guide pretty much tells the page to study and i don't want to guess if i have the right page or look all over for what ec wants me to learn...

If you download the EC exam content guide, it'll tell you which books you need. Another good way to tell which book you need (by ISBN number) is to go to the EC bookstore and look it up by exam: https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_College/My_Excelsior_College/Excelsior_College_Bookstore
The ISBN for the Mosby's book is 0-323-05192-8.
I'm not sure quite what you mean by this:

I figured out the books; however, I can not find one of them. I found the 6th edition but can not find the 5th.
For which book?
mosby's guide to nursing diagnosis (2006).
i can find the next one but i can't find the 2006 edition...
thank you :heartbeat
thank you for helping me. i really appreciate your help
by the way, have you taken the essentials of nursing care: health safety? aka fund of nursing
by the way, do you have a yahoo im id. it would be great to im you. i have a lot of questions.
and lastely, did you/ are you enrolled in ec?
You can use the later Mosby's -- it's okay.
I am enrolled in EC. I'm waiting for my CPNE date. I've completed all my exams.
Sorry, I don't do chat programs -- my computer time is too limited!! Feel free to ask questions here. Also, you can call EC and ask them all sorts of things -- they're the ultimate resource, after all. :) Good luck!
i really appreciate your help. would i be able to use newer versions?
