I got nothing here. But I never have. I have to remember why I got into this and it's not for gifties. If I can put a smile on someone's face then that's my gift. I know it sounds cheesy but it's the truth.

I can't find any help for NC1; I can find a lot for all of the others but not NC1. I am getting completely frustrated. I also have two study guides for EC and don't know which one to use. If you look at the EC site, there are a couple of options for the EC study guides. HELP.

wow thanks for the info. i may still use their study guides but i was under the impression that i had to enroll in ec in order to use their practice exams. but either way, i'm glad i enrolled cause it helps to have another feather in my belt. the info on the web site was awesome; thanx.

I didn't hear from anyone so I decided to switch to EC. I think in the long run, I'll save a lot of money cause I don't have to buy any study guides. I can if I choose but right now I'm studying NC1. We'll see how things go in the future...

can someone tell me how lisa's nurses work? i am considering purchasing them; however, if i have to answer more questions like the study guides i have now, i'm not sure if they will work...

good morning everyone (at least it's morning here in ohio) i've been an lpn since '02 and i've worked primarily in assisted living (my passion) since my graduation. i just stared working towared the adn with excelsior college. i'm in the midst of studying for my first exam. i feel really isolated being in the distance learning program but i'd rather feel isolated than stuffy in a classroom.... nice to meet everyone. if there's anyone from ohio, let me know.... god bless.

I figured out the books; however, I can not find one of them. I found the 6th edition but can not find the 5th.

one book ec requires is mosby's guide to nursing dx (2006); however, i can not find it. can someone tell me if the next edition will work as good without confusing me? the content guide pretty much tells the page to study and i don't want to guess if i have the right page or look all over for what ec wants me to learn... thanx

I can't help with that but I have a question for you.... What distance learning program are you in that has you working on indepth care plans? I need practice and want to make sure that Excelsior College enforces that... Thanx

well, i justed i study smart. i started with fund of nursing. the book is big and the study guide is daunting but i also purchased the fund of nursing study guide from barnes and noble and printed off the content guide from ec. my only concern is the care plans that will be required in the end because this distance learning plan doesn't really cover that. i'm looking into my options right now...

is anyone using the i study smart distance learning program? if so how is it working for you? if not, what program are you using and do you like it? :redbeathe
