i wish that i can help, but i 7 months pregnant and i have the same problem. it hurts to walk and stand. i tried just about everything that my co-workers suggest, but nothing seems to help. my doctor says that they usually go away after pregnancy, which i hope is true.
well hang in there and good luck to you.
That is a link to the contraption. Looks kinda scarey, LOL.
These are some options I tell my pts. 1.You can use a support belt such as the V-2 support belt. 2.Wear spandex bike shorts. 3. Place 2 full size pads in your underwear. The goal is to provide support and keep the veins from filling up and sagging. Firm pressure helps prevent this. Good luck.

So.. alot of us have them and I get them even worse when I'm pregnant. I get them in TMI places, but since this is an OB board, I will mention it..labia/ vulvar region. Ouchies. My docs were clueless with the last pregnancy on what to suggest except laying down. I've looked a bit on line and found some type of supportive underpants.
Anyone recomend these to pts or use them? They kinda look like an old fashioned girdle pantie.
I'm not looking for medical advice, just any info on the products out there for this stuff.
