Vent!!! This is why I'm doing my transition online!

This is just me venting!! I am sick of instructors that try to find little crappy ways to get you. If it was important enough to lecture about it why wouldn't you put it on the test. And if it wasn't important enough to lecture about then why make the WHOLE test about it!!! Why does this need to be so complicated? None of the other instructors like to make this a "Where's Waldo"-type of study. This is my education, not your hobby.

Sorry, but I'm done with the drama that crazy women like to create and I'm tired of instructors that are not organized.

Specializes in Hospice / Ambulatory Clinic.

Instructors do that to make sure your reading the material. remember your responsible for all the information not just the specifics touched upon in the lecture.

What subject?

For Diseases/disorders make notes like this

Etiologoy

S/S

DX

Treatment including drugs

Nursing interventions

That's why I did it via Excelsior. I'm too old for that nonsense.

Thank you!! I just don't like the games. I understand I'm responsible for all of the material, but it's just freakin' annoying that they do that. We have some instructors that painstakingly go over each chapter and stresses the important issues that we need to know, and another instructor that seems to just phone it in, and then we are the ones that get dinged for it!

My instructor does that so I understand the fustration.

The best advise I can offer you is to make sure you study your Nursing Interventions, if you notice that's what the bulk of your NCLEX questions are asking you. If your instructors are making tests NCLEX style, then study Nursing Interventions. It's true you're responsible for everything, but at the sametime, come on, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee Where's Waldo? LOL, I have to agree the exam shouldn't be a Where's Waldo type of test. You don't have time for crap like that when you're dealing with peoples lives. I totally agree with you CJShelton
