Hello,
I am vegan and only wear earth shoes (otherwise my knees and hips hurt). Unfortunately there is not a good selection in white vegan earthshoes! I have found http://www.shoebuy.com/earth-solar-vegan/222018/480220?cm_mmc=smarter-_-none-_-none-_-none which are like mary janes.
http://www.shoebuy.com/earth-kinetic-vegan/301636/644618 looks nice but it is mesh so I'm thinking it would not work for nursing school
http://www.shoebuy.com/earth-elite/333826/797544 is a waterproof boot. I'm thinking after a while it would get too warm because it is a boot.
Which one would you choose?
Thanks

I like the mary janes!
And, I was wondering - how do earth shoes feel? I mean, are they well cushioned? I've always wanted to try them but nowhere near me sells them and I'm afraid to buy shoes online unless I've had a chance to check 'em out.

I have owned several pairs of them. They take some getting used. I had to adjust to them slowly, with frequent shoe changes. If cushioning is a deal-breaker for you, then EarthShoes are a "no-go." They don't have much of that. They do help with prevention of hyperextension at the knees, and with maintaining good lumbar curvature. The problem I had was that I found it difficult to transition between my EarthShoes and and other regular shoes bacause my gait changed with the EarthShoes. I am now a minimalist girl (NB Minimus or Vibram FiveFingers) but you won't find those to be appropriate for school if that's what you need them for. I also like the SRR and the MBT, but don't know if those fall on the Vegan "continuum."

Crocs, cannot beat them, they are indestructible, also. Especially if you work extended hours/shifts, it's like walking on a bouncy foundation. Wonderful. I waer mine to the gym, and run in them on the treadmill, keeps my old knees from aching the next day.
