Hello ladies, hope everyone is having a happy new year and is working towards accomplishing goals. I was wondering if anyone plans on attending the LPN program at Veeb this year. I'm taking the entrance examination the 20th of January. I'm so anxious abt school tht I've already applied for financial aid. Is anyone else excited? Any advice from students tht are still attending? Upon graduating how much can a new lpn earn in the first yr?

I believe orientation is next for you.

Seriously can anyone tell me how the school contact you after the physical. Did mine on June 18 and have not heard from them. However, I must say they did send me the orientation dates and the stat date before my physical

Well that's all for now. All they sent me was my orientation dates and I'm going on the 18th of july and 5th of September

I'm curious to know what else you expect to hear at this time if you already have an orientation date??

Well for one when I spoke to the school they said once the physical is done I will hear from financial aid. I have, so that my reason for asking

Oh yes that's reasonable. You have me wondering if something would be wrong with your physical which would block you out to continue. Everything will fall into place.

Well it's never good to judge.

I know but we all do it. Best of luck to you in your journey.

Hi, im new to this thread...im not sure if this was already asked but I have a question about the uniforms. I may have a way of getting the dark blue ones through my job..i know someone mentioned that the jackets have the school logo, are the blue scrub uniforms also supposed to have the school logo, or does just having it on the the school jacket suffice

In terms of the white, I have a pair from meridys but they are plain...do any of you know if the tops require having the logo? when I went to the meridys website i didnt see anything that says a logo would be on them, im Wondering if i can get away with wearing the plain ones i already have and save myself some money

That a very sad comment from a nurse who has to deal with pple from diverse culture and religion. I hope u have a better approach to there questions and needs without ure need to satisfy your own curiosity.Had so much respect for u until u gave me that stupid answer that we all do it. I work in employee health at north shore for 15 years and never judge a sole when they ask me what kind of drug test they do. So speak for your self when u say we all do. God is the only judge.

You're back and forth on something that's so unnecessary. I was just hoping that you weren't worrying about something that would hinder your progress in the program. Like I said best of luck to you and your journey. Ive been on this boards for years and never had this back and forth and always offer to answer/help when I can. I hope you don't have such "having to answer back" attitude when/if you become a nurse. I don't have time for your back and forth.
