Hi all meka26 here with a few questions about veeb,
Fist off I've been searching for so long to see if a new thread has been started for the 2017-2018 class, since the testing dates has been opened for some time already, but couldn't find any . So here's the question how much time do you get for the examine, has anybody taken the math lesson being offered, what are the topics being covered on the examine and lastly has anyone been accepted already? if so congrats.
P.s a bundle of nerves
It was super easy, I had my appointment yesterday May 2nd. When you get to the school, you have to go to the business office. Philip is the financial aid advisor. He will take you across the hall to the computer lab/room; where you both will discuss what you have been awarded based on the information you submitted. He will a few papers; One of which is a check list regarding your personal information; Secondly is your Student Aide Report (SAR). On that sheet of paper will be your Estimated Expected Family Contribution (EFC) which will determine how much you or your family can contribute out of pocket. The next page will be a Financial Aid Packaging worksheet. This worksheet breaks down all of your expenses for the duration of the program. It also lets you know how much Aid you have been awarded with both Subsidized and Unsubsidized loans. If you have to pay out of pocket; the next one to two pages will be Veebs payment plan. They will breakdown however much you have to pay out of pocket into one to two payments. One payment is due in August and the other is due in February. After you go over that information you then have to go online for Entrance Counseling as well as signing the Master Promissory Note (you will need to know/remember your FSA username and password). After all of that is completed you have to sign the two to three papers regarding your financial aid and your out of pocket payment plan. He will make copies of the letters and give them to you, and that concludes your appointment!! There is nothing to be worried about. Philip is down to earth, which is great!! Let me know how it goes!!
For anyone who is thinking about applying to veeb. The exam for veeb is super easy unless English isn't your first language it's literally like elementary school. The math is easy and you have a calculator its basic math. I took the exam May 8th and got my results may 13th, the results came back really fast, I was shocked. I scored a 12.9 on reading and 12.1 on math I studied like probably like 4 days before but that Saturday I studied all day.
