Hello everyone! Looking into taking pre entrance exam now for Veeb for fall 2016 anyone else interested and looking into applying to Veeb?

Hi how are you??Did you get your results yet??I want to ask you something? ?In the math part of the test,do you have to show your work or its just múltiples choice the Whole test??

Hello, I am a current veeb student. And I wanted to let you know that, Veeb offers a math review course for $200. The class meets for 2 days a the week, for two hours a day. I think my session was from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and Fridays. That's the course that I took to get into veeb. It's an optional math course, but I took it because, I was unsure of my math skills. But after the math review , I was well prepared for the veeb exam. It was well worth it, I could of spent $200 on bull, but I invested myself. The math exam just like the English is a timed exam!!!! So I gained a lot from going to the math class, because the teacher taught us how to use our calculator, which is allowed during the exam. & I finished, way before the time was over, because I was familiar with the fractions, decimals, rounding questions that were asked. So, don't be too eager to take veeb into the exam, they will be testing up until May, I'm pretty sure. But keep in mind, and look out for veeb math review course, I'm not sure if they're going to have one this year, but keep your eyes open. It is indeed recommended for those who struggle with math. Just keep in mind, that Veeb will be requesting a $2,000 deposit almost immediately after receiving your acceptance letter (one you pass the exam) . So give yourself time to get the money up, file taxes, work extra hours, etc so your application process will go smoothly. F.Y.I your $2000 deposit is what guarantees your seat. We have 2 midterms tomorrow so I can't stay too long on this. I remember staying up late at nite reading this website allnurse , now I'm actually giving valuable information to future veebers!!! God Is Good. Dont give up!!!!! Why wait, start your career now!!!! If you do nothing for 11 months. You'll get nothing for 11months... Veeb is only 11 months. I am a step closer to being a nurse. From HHA to CNA to LPN God Willing

Hi how are you??thanks for the info,im actually taking the math reviews course, its on mondays and tuesdays, from 4-6.Im worry about the short time they give you for the math part,im nervous because math is my weakest subjet. But im practising and practicing,so god willing ill pass the test.

I'm soo Sorry I just saw your message...I've been busy at work..smh no I haven't gotten my results yet!!!..I'm still waiting...I wanted to tell you good luck on your test coming up soon...and I'm 100 percent sure you will do great!!

It's just multiple choice...for the entire test...they give you scrap paper and a calculator to work out the problems. You'll be fine don't worry about it. Just be calm and pace yourself...if you get stumped on a question leave it then come back to it if you have time in the end.

Thank you for the advice itz_klove! You're right about if you do nothing for 11 months you get nothing for 11 months...time is of the essence no time to waste! Good luck on your midterms tomorrow

How did the exam go!???!!

Hi how are you. They postpone the exam for next monday .

I'm fine...ohh yeah?...well I guess it's just more time for you to practice...;) No biggie...I'm doing good...I can't complain...how are you?? I know you're anxious and just want to get this test over and done with

Im doing fine, just very anxious. You know in the math reviews class was a Girls that took the entrance test 3 times and failed.1 time math,2 time reading. That got me thinking because English is not my first languaje.

Hmmmm woww...three times she failed?...don't get discouraged a lot of test prep questions you see on the GED are very similar to the English and math part of this test. They are testing your basic knowledge of English and math. Don't worry about how everyone else is testing...I think you took the right step to taking the math prep classes. And as long as you read the passages in the English part and choose the right answer...you will do fine. The test instructor kept saying all the answers are right there in the reading...you just have to look for them. And definitely get familiar with the calculator because it will help you move faster during the test. Even though I don't know you personally..Emma I have faith in you. Question...how long have you been speaking/writing/reading English? You write well on here.

Wow thank you for your words,i came to América 14 years ago.I never had the opportunity to go back to school úntil now.Im ready now.Thank you for all the information, the support and the Words you gave me.God bless you.
