Hi guys I have been unable to respond due to this site disabling my account and changing my name from NYCLPN69 to NYCLPN2b69, which in my opinion is absurd. In my opinion we are want to be and who we will be, long before we realize, it already inside of us. This site should give ppl their autonomy. So I will no longer be using it, especially if what I say is edited, n we are not allowed freedom of speech or press. Well it is against the terms of service to use the title you have not earned such as LPN. that's why they added that 2be. In most states it is illegal to use the title such as nurse LPN and RN that you have not earned.

Hiii, as a licensed Clinician in the state of New York I'm very aware about the use of titles in the medical field and mental health field. I am a licensed therapist curently switching fields (finally :-) ) my mother is a Nurse, and father is Doctor of osteopathic medicine. Its fine for me to use a title as a forum name and the main reason I picked that name was because it was simple to remember. I did not use any state issued licensed numbers, which do not belong to be. But more importantly some information tht I wrote to give the students about the LPN school I went to BK was taken down and it didn't violate any of this sites terms and policies. An addition to that info that was recently wrote to help students study for the entrance exam was also deleted which in my opinion is very unfortunate....but thanks for your response, have a great day!!

Using Professional Titles:

Members cannot call themselves by professional titles, if they do not hold that title. ie. "doctor, Dr.,
RN
, LPN, LVN, Nurse, CNA, RT, MA" etc, unless they are actually licensed and/or certified as such. Use of such titles is protected under most state laws. If you have chosen a user ID name that reflects an unearned professional title, please contact:
