Hello has anyone took the entrance exam for the veeb lpn program in long island if so how was it?

If you are like me, planning on going to work and go to school you must have a plan. I break my entire week down by the hour and have goals for things that need to get done each day. I am nowhere near the smartest person, but I am one of the hardest working. Don't feel that a full time job and school can't be done because you aren't some super genius. You just have to ask yourself "how bad do you want it?" And what are you willing to sacrifice to get it.

Good attitude! I just graduated veeb last week and I went through the program working 50 hours a week. It is doable but you need to read ahead to make life easier. There are weeks during semester two and three where you have exams everyday of the week so you got to bring your A game!

My uniform came in the mail also....

Surprised at how perfect they fit, being that I guessed my size. And the soo called sweater, wish it was a little heavier. The material of the scrubs, easy wash and line dry..

Who's planning on working and going to school???

I am, ill be working nights in Port Washington_ doing absolutely nothing!!! But studying

The worst thing, is to be in school_ worrying about the bills at home....

Hi it's my first time commenting. I am planning on working nights at a facility in the Bronx. I won't be able to study at work because of the type of supervisor I have. I live in nj and I'm absolutely terrified. Honestly I'm usually a hard worker and a go getter but the fact that Im not sure what to expect makes me nervous and excited at the same time. I'm wondering what tips you guys have in order to remain in zen mode and stay focused.

I dont work full time currently but I have four kids and a husband. So my plan is going to be all about preparation. Cooking meals on the weekend and freezing it, so during the week im not doing too much besides homework shower and baths. Organize is the other thing I plan on doing. And it is about how bad you want it. Stay focused and find good study partners. My prayer is that none of my children get sick and everyone stays healthy throughout the school year.

Just verifying during orientation, did they say all exams are multiple choice?

I just got a part time job in locust valley, and it with children. i doubt i can study while working but i will be up late nights studying. I totally agree, from experience the bills really can distract you from your studying

How are the tests that they give? is it every week, and are they all multiple choice?

Yes all tests are multiple choice with the exception of a few med math show your work exams.

I heard the first week of classes are all tests. What is it on? I'm starting in two weeks..

They did say we have a test the first week on the summer reading.
