I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
Your bill is due after you get it in the mail in September. I had some immunizations done so my balance last Sept. was 3250.
Also for those of you planning on bringing / buying a laptop for school to make note-taking easier, don't even bother. 4/5 teachers had no problem with it, but there's 1 that does and she decided to cause an uproar recently.
They don't allow tape-recording either. for "legal" reasons. :chuckle

Hey grindin. Thanks for all your previous info on the bridge!! Do u know what material is on the retake by any chance? Is it math and reading like the entrance exam or is it other stuff?
Im also on the wait list for the bridge program, i failed math by 1 !!!!!! I also didn't realize that it wasn't too late to take the boces test so im going to get started on that monday morning thanks to NY- mom :)
miaizon, where do you live? or anyone else that is doing the bridge program maybe we can get a study session in together?
hey lidowest, I live in New Hyde Park, and I think it's a great idea to do a study group..I'm gonna apply to western Suffolk boces too, I'm glad to hear u are going to apply there as well..where do u live?
NY-mom...i live in Franklin Square. We're neighbors !! Im pretty sure all the free review classes have passed at boces, but we can work together to study for that test.
