Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
When i tested on 2/11 they said there would be no bridge program. It seems as though most of what VEEB does is inspired by making more money.I just hope there's enough room for those who passed and get acceptance letters because they are now designating spots for those who are going to do the bridge program and for those who were held over from last year...:icon_roll
I completely agree!!!!!!

From what I understand (I could be wrong), the bridge program does not guarantee entrance to VEEB..... I wish they would make up their minds with what they are going to do. It's annoying and frustrating. All this unnecessary stress and the program hasn't even started!:angryfire
Hey grindin, so did a lot people fail the retake last year?? Do u know if the retake is harder than the first? Or is it the same?
I doubt it would be the same test, and difficulty is very subjective, some people say its more difficult, others say otherwise.
Also I can't really blame VEEB for trying to make extra money, quite a few people have failed out of the program recently and some are borderline and that's lost and potential lost revenue.
Veeb will never do away with the bridge program because it's a money maker. The year I tested only 23 people from the 75 in the bridge program got in. The work is first semester work. Veeb knows what they are doing. My advice to those doing the bridge....study your behind off because if you couldn't pass the entrance exam, the bridge exam is much more difficult. Sorry. I just like to be straight up. Now mind you I didn't have to do the bridge. This is the info I got from people who graduated with me in August who had to do the Bridge Program.
